Your Guide to Flawless Colour

Colour On the run Divide Hair Instructions

Start...

Prep & Section

1. Lay out your tools from your Colour on the Run Hair Colour Kit.
2. Protect your clothes with the cape supplied with your kit.
3. Brush dry hair.
4. Divide hair into 4 sections and secure with clips.
5. Put on gloves.
6. Empty your colour tube and developer into one half of the storage/mixing container supplied with your kit.
7. Use the tint brush supplied to thoroughly mix the colour and developer until combined.

Then...

Apply Colour

8. Unclip one of your front sections and grab a thin slice of hair.
9. Use your tint brush to apply the colour to roots and regrowth. Try to avoid applying the colour onto previously coloured hair.
10. Apply the colour to the roots of this section, slice by slice.
11. Once roots of a section are covered, re-clip hair.
12. Repeat on remaining sections of hair.
13. Set your timer for a total developing time of 35 minutes.

Optional Step: If you wish to refresh the colour on your mid-lengths and ends, dampen your hair and massage colour evenly through the hair for no longer than 5 mins within the 35 minute developing time.

Finally...

Rinse and Clean

14. Once your 35 minute timer goes off, rinse the colour from your hair thoroughly until water runs clear.
15. Shampoo your hair and follow with conditioner.
16. Blow dry and enjoy your fabulous new colour!
